Arrival to New Zealand, the Land of Long White Cloud

Kia Ora (it is Maori for hello) *oink*! I just landed here in New Zealand. It is really a beautiful country. I learned from my flight that New Zealand is divided between the North Island and the South Island. *oink* New Zealand is a very young country from what I read in the books. Here is me when I landed on the Auckland International Airport. They were very nice to me. Especially, this British gentlemen, Ryan. He was very kind to help me with my luggage (see picture of me and Ryan on the escalator). I think he was pretty surprised to see little talking pink pig. But he got over it really fast because he treated me for a nice cup of coffee (see me drinking cappuccino with 3 sachets of sugar…that is how I like it..*oink*). We exchanged stories. I told him I am here on a journey to discovery — who I am, what is my purpose *oink*. Ryan said he works in healthcare industry and that he will be living here in New Zealand for a while. I came to a conclusion that people here in New Zealand are very friendly *oink*. In fact, he even invited me to visit the flat where he is stays. He said I can meet very nice people there from all over the world. Sounds good to me I *oinked*.
As I finished my coffee, I took the Airbus to Auckland City (see me pose along the big sign, City of Sails). It was a great adventure in itself. Will tell you in the next blog.

Hi, my name is Spider Pig and this is my adventure! Follow me as I make my journey to discover the world.

you're sooo cute!!! by the way, how do you handle the swine flu pandemic?
Hello again Ranie!! *oink*oink*… everyone thinks I am cute. I could never really tell because humans look so different and they are cute too.
I heard about the swine flu and it is very sad that many people are sick because of the flu. I wish I can do something about it. I only learned about the swine flu when I ran away from the barn. I did not realize it was very bad.*oink**oink*. As far as I can remember, when there was a swine flu breakout it was during that time I found myself in the barn with my cow friends. I can't remember much about anything else except my dreams of a bald yellow man carrying me and seeing a song.*oink**oink*. This much I can tell. *oink*
If I remember more, I will tell you. Maybe in my travel, I can help find a cure to the swine flu and help the people affected by it especially the other pigs who are sick.
*oink*
Thank you again Ranie. I hope I can help you more. Lets keep in touch! Till then…*oink**oink*
Yes Spider Pig! Maybe you are destined to find an antidote for this awful virus
!
Well, perhaps the key to your search for meaning Spider Pig is ASKING THE RIGHT QUESTIONS. Questioning is one of the great paths to truth, compassion, humility, and prosperity. Thus, when you are confronted with any good fortune, you need to ask what higher purpose this good fortune serves. This way, your wanderings will be shorter, more fun, and of greater consequence. =)
